Come join the fun! Amazing Rec staff will keep your preschoolers engaged and happy as they transition into summer. Camp includes free play as well as structured activities inside and outside, including group games, crafts, obstacle courses, circle/story time, nature exploration, and lots of good old-fashioned summer fun! Kids should bring a nut-free snack and lunch each day. Activities vary each day and week, so sign up for multiple sessions!

Ages 3-5 (and has not attended kindergarten)
Location: Middle School cafeteria & outside area
One-week sessions: M-F 9am12:30pm (extended hours now include lunchtime-please pack a nut-free lunch for your child)
Fee for each session: $170 for members and $200 for non-members
Sessions 2 & 4 fee: $140 for members and $170 for non-members

Please note: All campers need to be potty trained. And there is no before/after care available for this age group.

Session 1: June 9-13, 2025:  Camp Chagrin

Start the summer getting to learn about and explore nature. This week campers will have the opportunity to discover the outdoors through a variety of camping-related activities including nature walks, paracord crafts, and much more. We will also have the chance to learn about the creepy crawly insects we see around us! Campers will learn more about the world around them and how to stay safe while exploring. 

Session 2: June 16,17,18 and 20, 2025:  STEM Explorers

Summer is the perfect time to learn more while having fun. Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics all play a hand into how kids see and understand the world around them. We will conduct experiments to inspire curiosity about the world around them and all the possibilities for it.  Get ready to build, create, and learn this week!
***Note this week is 4 days due to building closure on June 19th

Session 3: June 23-27 , 2025: Space! 3…2…1…BLAST OFF!

Come become astronauts with us as we learn about space this week. We will be doing space themed science projects, reading space books, and learning about our galaxy! Campers will make their own paper telescope to take home and look out at the sky at night after learning about constellations. 

Session 4: June 30-July 3, 2025: Beach Party (NO Camp July 4)

Enjoy the summer sun this holiday week. Feel the sand on your toes and the sun on your face! This week we will have fun under the sun doing beach activities with sand, sea shells, beach balls, and more. Plus, the campers will have a chance to learn all about the sea creatures that share the beach with them. ***Note camp is 4 days due to holiday and building closure. 

Session 5: July 7-11, 2025 Let’s Get Moving

Journey into fitness and wellness this week at Littles Camp! The campers will be up and running around this week using all of their summer energy. This week will focus on promoting activity and fitness with the ultimate goal of fun. We will stretch, dance, run, meditate, and all play together to get our bodies moving. We will also learn different sports and sports challenges focusing on practicing teamwork and fostering a love of movement. 

Session 6: July 14-18, 2025 Fairytales Can Come True! (With A Little Help From STEM)

Young children are naturally imaginative and creative. Fairytale week will focus on making believe and how we can create our own magic in the world around us using Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. The kids will build their own forts and castles then participate in a variety of magical experiments and creations. Our books and activities will focus on magic, discovery, and imagination! 

Session 7: July 21-25, 2025 Under The Sea

To celebrate the 2024 Olympics, the campers will be having their very own Olympic Games. They will have a chance to show off their skills in relay races, parachute games, and building competitions. At the end, we will have a medal ceremony where each camper will receive their own medals!

Session 8: July 28-Aug 1, 2025  Animals: Lions…Tigers…Bears…Oh My!

Is your little one an animal lover? Then, come join us for animal week! Dive into the jungle, safari, rainforest, or ocean with this animal-themed week. Campers will learn about new animals and their habitats by spending time outdoors, listening to books, doing crafts, and by participating in traditional camp activities. You never know what furry, feathered, or scaly friends we may meet!
