REC DAY CAMP TEAM

Director Halle McClintock just finished her junior year at the University of Georgia studying Elementary Education. This will be her second year working at day camp. Her favorite part about camp is spending time with the kids, getting to know them, and giving back to a community that is so important to her! A fun fact about her is that she is on the track team at UGA. She can’t wait for the best summer of camp ever!

Camp Counselor Peyton Owen just finished his freshman year at Ohio State University with an undecided major. His favorite thing about camp is giving a new generation of kids a great experience at the rec like he had when he was young.  A fun fact about me is him is that he also coached youth basketball for 2 years.

Camp Counselor Julia Crandall is a freshman at Miami University studying psychology. Her favorite thing about camp is seeing the smiles on the faces of the campers each day! This will be her third summer working at the rec. When Julia was in Intermediate school, she spent almost every summer day in the rec pool playing with her friends.

Camp Counselor Owen Lewis is going to be a senior at Chagrin Falls High School. This year will be his third year working at the camp. His favorite thing about camp is getting to know the kids through fun sports and activities! A fun fact about him is that he is the 5th one in his family to work at the Chagrin Valley Rec Center.
