The Chagrin Valley Rec Center is looking for volunteers! Volunteers to teach a class and register early for all your lessons and classes. Don't get closed out!!
Check back here to download the volunteer class form. The form is ONLY available on the website.
1. Everyone who plans on registering on volunteer night must send in a volunteer form, AND become a Rec member for the 2010 season.
2. Registration numbers will be posted March 15th on the glass doors of Rec Center and on Chagrinrec.com The registration numbers on the list will be updated on the 15th of each month.
3. All forms must be postmarked and mailed

2010 CVRC Volunteer Guidelines for Classes
TO APPLY
Interested volunteers must complete a class application form. Deadline for the completed form is February 15th, 2010 (this is a firm deadline) Please mail completed form to:

CLASS STRUCTURE
•**No bingo, kickball, or tie-dye will be accepted for volunteer classes**
• For precautionary and safety purposes all class require TWO adult instructors. Each adult will receive volunteer status.
•Student/instructor class ratios are 10/1
• Be prepared 15 minutes prior to class starting time. Allow ample time for clean up and pick up of students.
• DO NOT include your children as students on the class roster.
CLASS ROSTER
Class roster, waiting list and class evaluation list will be mailed to the primary instructor in early June.
CONTACTING CLASS PARTICIPANTS
Instructors are REQUIRED to contact class participants at least 48 hours prior to the class date. If there is a cancellation, waiting list participants MUST be contacted as space becomes available. Please accommodate as many kids on the waiting list as possible.
CANCELLATIONS
The scheduling of a class is a FIRM commitment. Participating as an instructor entitles you to pre-register for all CVRC classes. Instructors are responsible for maintaining this agreement regardless of class size. Be certain to check class date does not conflict with other commitments.

CLASS REPORT
Instructors will be provided with an evaluation report for the CVRC volunteer committee upon completion of the class. This is to evaluate outcome, attendance and to compile any comments/ suggestions from instructors.

Volunteer For Swim Meets
Volunteer as a timer for three home swim meets (or two home swim meets and the Invitational) in exchange for early registration. Contact the Swim Team Chairperson for more information.
